Governor Announces Closure of All Non-Essential Businesses, $175 Million Relief Package
Governor Hogan announced that all non-essential businesses in Maryland must close by 5:00 p.m. today. He also announced a $175 million relief package focused on helping workers and small businesses affected by COVID-19. Other initiatives announced today included an order to prohibit price gouging, the establishment of field hospitals, and a directive to bring more testing capacity online.
