Caroline County Partially Activates EOC in Response to COVID-19

Caroline County has partially activated its Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in response to the COVID-19 virus. The EOC is a joint operation center established for County departments and partner agencies to work together and meet regularly. It also helps coordinate and communicate a consistent response to the community during a public emergency. The EOC is led by the Director of Emergency Services, Anna Sierra; the Caroline County Health Officer, Scott LeRoy; and the Superintendent of Public Schools, Patty Saelens.

Additional information about the EOC and Caroline County's response to COVID-19 are available on the County's website.

Caroline County uses the CodeRED alert system to notify residents in emergency situations. We encourage ALL residents to sign up. However, it is particularly important if you only use a cell phone. By signing up, you grant permission to Caroline County government and its allied agencies to contact you via email, text, or voice call in the event of an emergency.
