Position Overview

Join our public health mission as a volunteer with Caroline County Covid-19’s Hantavirus Awareness Campaign. We are seeking dedicated individuals to help distribute educational leaflets throughout the community, raising awareness about Hantavirus transmission, prevention, and symptoms. Your efforts will directly contribute to protecting public health in Caroline County.

Key Responsibilities

  • Distribute educational leaflets about Hantavirus to community members in assigned locations
  • Engage professionally and courteously with the public while handing out materials
  • Maintain accurate records of distribution activities and locations
  • Report progress to the organizing team
  • Answer basic questions about Hantavirus using provided materials
  • Help identify high-traffic areas for effective leaflet distribution

Ideal Candidate

  • Passionate about public health and disease prevention
  • Reliable, with consistent availability (flexible scheduling available)
  • Comfortable with face-to-face public interaction
  • Able to walk or stand for extended periods
  • Willing to follow safety protocols and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • No prior experience necessary—full training provided
